LMDA Summer Session Important Info:

Summer 3-day themed dance camps coming this summer! Encanto, Wicked, K-pop demon hunter, Tik-tok and more! Camps include a themed craft. Register now as space is limited. (Scroll down for schedule)

Summer class registration guideline: Please register dancers for their grade as of Sept. 2026. Classes will focus on strengthening skills to make your desired line. (Private lessons may also be needed to hone in on specific skills. Teachers will reach-out as needed. Email questions to Miss Kiana- info@lmdanceacademy.com)

$50 class registration fee (non-refundable) due at time of registration to save your spot. Tuition will process 7/1 & 8/1. Tuition is $60 monthly for 1 hour classes and $90 monthly for 1.5 hour classes. Recreational classes have a multi-class discount of $10 for the second class. (Per dancer) Please see LMDA Handbook for shoe order link and dress-code.

Classes for competitive dancers are shaded. (See full summer class offerings at the bottom of this page) For our 2026-2027 season- Spark are Grade 1-2, Ignite are Grade 3-4, Prestige/Esteem are Grade 5-7. Elite are Grade 8-12. Ages are used as a guideline. Dancers can be moved by teachers depending on skills, technical ability and maturity. Please reach out with any questions on placement. Don’t forget to register for 8/7-8/8 tryouts as well! (2/14 try-out registration opens) See you in classes!

We are offering summer workshops as well as the schedule below for dancers that may have a more limited summer schedule with other activities.

Summer workshops with Miss Kiana:  

Dance Team Try-out Prep: July 7-9, 8:00-10:00am

This workshop is designed to help dancers feel confident in their skills, prepared and ready to shine! We’ll focus on technique, performance skills, and learning mock combos and turn-sets so that you walk into auditions strong and fearless!

Advanced Specialty Groups: July 7-9, 10:00-12:00. Age 10+

This class is for dancers interested in joining an advanced specialty group with Miss Kiana in the upcoming season. With small group sizes, we’ll focus on the specific requirements for the season ahead. Dancers will also learn the choreography needed for tryouts.

Advanced Acro: July 14-16, 1:00-3:00

This class is perfect for students looking to solidify aerials, learn tour and standing aerials, master back handsprings, and build more complex acro passes. Students will also work on the strength and flexibility needed to master skills like tinsicas, scorpions, needles, and more. Ideal for those preparing for Acro 2 or advanced acro tryouts, this class will help you take your technique and performance to the next level.

Solo/Duet/Trio Prep: August 4-6, 2:30-4pm.

This class is for students aspiring to become first-time soloists, seasoned soloists looking to upgrade their skills and dancers looking to do a duet or trio in the upcoming competition season. We’ll focus on essential skills for success, and building confidence. This workshop is mandatory for dancers who are interested in doing a solo/duet/trio for our 2026-2027 season. We will place dancers with their choreographer, decide dance styles, songs etc in this workshop. This workshop will be strictly capped, so register asap!
