COMPETITION DANCE TRYOUTS August 7-8, 2026

Tryouts are for the 2026-27 school year. Contact us @ info@lmdanceacademy.com if unable to attend tryouts, but would like to join a competitive team. Individual assessment needed to be placed on a team.

Main team tryouts are both days! The first day will be learning the dances for tryouts on the second day. Tryout fees process 7/1. If your dancer is unable to be present at tryouts, the tryout fee will still process in order for dancers to be considered for a line/s. Dancers will all be placed on a line. Important news! Competition dancers are no longer required to be in more than 1 supplemental line or class. Supplemental line dancers are encouraged to join Production, but not mandatory. Production is included in main lines. We are dedicated to proper training and development of all our dancers at LMDA and encourage dancers to raise their level of technique by adding a second class. Solo and advanced team dancers have specific enrollment requirements. Please inquire- info@lmdanceacademy.com for more information.

Dress code: Black leotard & Jazz Shoes or Turners (Any color)

Hair in a bun & light face makeup is acceptable.



TRY OUT for Supplement & Advanced Teams

Dress code: Black sweat- pants/Booty Shorts and black camisole or bra top. Appropriate shoes in any color are required for tryouts.

Hair pulled off your face & light face makeup is acceptable.
